Beth Raas-Bergquist Artistic Director: Beth is the founding Artistic Director of Ghost Light Theatricals where she directed Mother Phoeker, Measure for Measure, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, and Tartuffe, among many others. Additionally, Beth has directed at 14/48, Live Girls! Theatre, Theater Schmeater, and The Experimental Theatre Project. She has an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University, and a BA from Bennington College.
Brenan Grant is new to GLT.  Time to rock and roll!
Travis Roderick Development Director: Travis is stuck on Ghost Light like duct tape gets stuck to itself!
Julia Welch Marketing Co-Director: Julia has been working with Ghost Light since 2009.  She like to use power tools and sling steel, and can generally be found behind the scenes.
Rob Raas Bergquist Managing Director: Rob currently makes sure the company has money. He makes lots of pretty spreadsheets that are filled with data that only he (and the board) can comprehend. After much discussion we have decided that he is so good at the numbers because he has been reincarnated from one of the “brought to you by” numbers from Sesame Street. Upon figuring that out, Rob got angry — he really wanted to be the color blue.
Jenifer Ross On Site Activities/ Late Night Production Manager: Jenifer is a gradute of The University of Puget Sound with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. She hails from the Tacoma/Puyallup area and has been participating in theatrical events since a very young age.
Chelsie Q. Hanner Graphic Designer Since Ghost Light’s founding in 2003, Chelsie has been behind the scenes fiddling with marketing, administration, and set design (Lady from the Sea, Macbeth, Trojan Women, How I Learned to Drive). From “Gar washes” to “Peep shows” to “The World’s Most Depressing Fern”, it’s been Techtacular!
Val Brunetto Marketing Co-Director: A company member since 2009, Val has appeared in The Misanthrope, The Oedipal Duplex, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and The Skriker. She received her B.A. in Theatre from Whitman College and is a Teaching Artist at the Seattle Children’s Theatre. On her days off, she enjoys juking about the countryside.
Ben Newton Late Night Coordinator: Ben is rumored to exist.  There is currently no empirical evidence in support of this claim.

Becky Chong Volunteer Coordinator/House Manager: I, Becky Chong, am a company member with a floating status–which means “what can i do to help?” Because creating art with Ghostlight is an absolute pleasure. It has led me to continually grow and challenge myself as a person and how I relate to art. Sometimes it’s beautiful. Sometimes it’s really flippin’ hard. Sometimes its both. And that’s okay. O! And I’ve been seen in Oedipal Duplex, A Dream Play, The Beaux Stratagem, and Tartuffe.
Justin Emerick Company Member: When asked for a bio for the site, Justin sat down and penned out a beautiful poem about how happy he is to know all of the Ghost Light crew and all the hard work he puts into it. Unfortunately, as he was riding his trusty two-wheeled “peddler” to work one day, the wind picked up and his beautiful words ended up in the Sound. So, instead he submitted this.
Jalyn Green Company Member: Jalyn Green (Wild Card) has been a fixture in the Pacific Northwest theatre scene for as long as he can remember. He studied dramatic arts at Centralia College and later at the University of Washington. With Ghost Light you have seen him as Hamlet in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, various drunken roles in Measure for Measure, the noble Philante in the Misanthrope. A cadre of lovers in A Dream Play, and the title role in the Oedpial Duplex. When not found acting he can usually be found either working, catching up on video games, bartending at the space, or working.

Ghost Light Theatricals' mission is to create bold, imaginative stories inspired by classic texts that resonate with a modern world.

Founded in 2003, Ghost Light Theatricals is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre company based in Seattle. Volunteers are always welcome. Contact Us for more information.
