SEATTLE, WA – Ghost Light Theatricals’ “Family Values” season concludes with Brian Friel’s superbly sharp, witty and surprisingly modern adaptation of the Anton Chekhov classic THREE SISTERS, April 2nd, 3rd, 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th and 17th at 7:30pm and April 18th at 2:00pm. Tickets for THREE SISTERS are $15, $12 for students and seniors, and are available at the door. THREE SISTERS is being performed at The Ballard Underground – 2220 NW Market, Seattle, WA 98107.

Moscow, Moscow, Moscow. That is all Olga, Masha and Irina long for as they face the doldrums of life in a provincial Russian town. Moscow, Moscow, Moscow. That is the only goal they have, the only goal they see, the only goal they can imagine. Moscow, Moscow, Moscow. That is what slips away as the three grind away day after day in a world of repetition and disappointment. Anton Chekhov’s THREE SISTERS presents us with the humanity in everyday life: their fears could be our fears, and the life that grows through the cracks is just as beautiful, just as funny, and just as sad as our own.
