Description
The 2010 BATTLE OF THE BARDS will not only decide a play in our 2010-2011 season, but it will also mark the first ever event held in our new theatre! The lineup for BARDS IV includes:
THE CLOUDS by Aristophanes, adapted and directed by Alexis Holzer – a comedic look at upper class society and our unwillingness to take responsibility for our extravagant lifestyles.
METAMORPHOSIS by Franz Kafka, adapted by Stephen Ross and directed by Wilder Nutting-Heath – a story about a man who turns into a bug and how that metamorphosis changes the lives of everyone else around him.
FORTINBRAS by Lee Blessing, directed by Shawn Bookey – an exploration of what happens when one takes over a castle filled with histrionic ghosts desperate to offer every bit of advice gleaned from their failed lives.
Following the final Saturday performance, join us at this raucous, alcohol fueled fundraiser, and be involved in choosing part of our 2010-2011 season!
